Hey everyone!
My name is Josh and I am with the Cleveland Skeptics. I want to share my new blog post with you. It's called "Critical Thinking 101" and it's purpose is to provide people with the basic tools for critical thinking and skepticism. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback about the post.
Here is the link to the post: http://www.clevelandskeptics.org/2008/12/here-be-dragons.html
Enjoy!

Welcome Josh |
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Welcome, Josh, but your link isn't working. | The link works fine for me, but maybe it's our software. What browser/OS are you using, Hittman? |

I grew up on the west side, so I'm not all that familiar with the area. But I've been through there. It's nice.

XP Pro/Firefox, and the link it working fine now. Evidently something was screwed up on the DNS server I was hitting (other sites worked fine at the time).
Looks like you've got a lot of good resources there, Josh, but I'd suggest breaking it up into separate pages or posts.
I visited Cleveland many years ago, and wasn't expecting much based on the numerous negative comments, and of course, jokes, about it. It was fine. It reminded me of Albany (where I'm from) with the exception that the people there were noticeably more friendly.

Thank you all for your kind greetings and feedback. Hittman, that is a great idea as far as breaking them into different pages or posts. I just have to figure out a way to do that. If anyone knows a good way to do that let me know. |
