Washington, DC, January 20, 2009 (Exclusive to IPI) -- An Obama Administration insider today revealed that incoming President Barack Obama and outgoing President George W. Bush reached a surprise secret agreement during a private meeting in the White House prior to the inauguration this morning.

According to a source in the new administration, the deal between the Presidents was a simple one: George W. Bush accepted lifetime exile from the United States, in return for which President Obama pledged not to have him indicted and extradited back to the US.
The deal is beneficial to Bush because it makes it unlikely that he will tried or punished for the crimes which he committed during his eight years in office. The White House source said that the upside of the agreement from President Obama's viewpoint is the "self-evident benefit to the nation of getting that smug, rotten bastard out of our country."
Armed Marines were ordered to escort the former President and his family directly from the White House to a military helicopter, which then took them to Andrews Air Force Base. There they were hustled into a jet bound for foreign shores.
The source was mum about the identity of the country to which Bush has been exiled, but assured our reporter that "It is an unstable realm of dark superstition," that is "ruled by an oil-rich junta of priestly men who regularly use the death penalty to enforce a reign of terror."
(IPI researchers have found just three candidate countries that fit the description to be Bush's country of exile: Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Texas.)
