I peer out the front door. Although it's very cloudy and almost dark, I can easily see that the sky remains where it has always been and not falling at all. Are we sure that this is not a Poe?
I suppose not; maybe DS found a more reliable dealer and came somewhere close to his senses, and, as we all know, UD ain't havin' none o' that sensible shit.

End of an era, indeed, though I think the changes at UD made by Dembski were set up for getting rid of DaveScot. In recognition for all Dave's years of effort in holding UD together against the forces of rationality, Dembski shows his gratitude by throwing him off the train. With malice aforethought.
Maybe Dave can get his head together a little now. For a long time, DaveScot has been the agnostic brain behind UD, sort of like a poor man's Karl Rove. It was only inevitable (and poetic justice) that the banning weapon that for so long he wielded for Dembski has now been used against him.
Dave certainly went out with a righteous bang, didn't he?
Unlike Karl Rove, Dave never did much of anything that was very evil in the real world. Perhaps someday he will no longer be "DaveTard" but a functioning skeptic. I won't hold my breath, but such trasformations didn't begin with Saul on the road to Damascus, and won't stop happening soon.
In the meantime, Dembski and his UD charade has become even more exposed as a closed little clique of obedient nonthinkers, now more boring than ever without DaveScot.

| Yeah, "academic freedom" my ass! They really ought to have screenshots and whatnot taken of the posts there and then the shots of the comments having been deleted with a message of bannation to show in court cases whenever those idiots whine about "academic freedom". |

Seems to me DaveScot go annoyed with UD once before for going way off topic. He may be full of shit about ID, but he does seem to have a kind of integrity that the folks at UD have no interest in.
And hey, I got banned with my second post. It was polite and everything. |
