Of course, my inspiration for the above comes from this post about the fate of David "Davescot" Springer (aka DaveTard), the former honcho of Bill Dembski's ID Creationist site, Uncommon Descent. Another inspiration came from Time Magazine's past covers, where they've shown a crossed-out Hitler, when the Nazis were defeated, a crossed-out Japanese rising sun, when Japan surrendered, a crossed-out Saddan Hussein, and a crossed-out Musab al-Zarqawi:
