The recount in Minnesota continues and Norm Coleman is sliding ever closer to sucking hind tit -- in all truth, he's already sucking it. The attachment just isn't permanent yet. He was down by 225 votes and now it's 312. ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Democrat Al Franken's lead in Minnesota's U.S. Senate race has grown to 312 votes now that hundreds of absentee ballots have been added to the counting.
A three-judge panel ruled that the rejected absentee ballots should be opened and counted after hearing weeks of testimony in a lawsuit brought by Republican Norm Coleman.
Franken led by 225 votes going into Tuesday's count of those absentee ballots.
| I have read that Coleman is planning to take it to the state Supreme Court and when that fails, into the federal system. Bush Lite, eh?
The question I have is: from whence comes the money for this nonsense?

My guess is the RNC. They do not want another Democrat, and a liberal one at that, who would bring the Dems one vote away from the magic number, to make it to the senate. I don't know if they are funding it directly our funneling the money through legal (or illegal) channels. But hey, Franken making it in would rate as one of their worst nightmares... |
