Two of the three top stooges of the Republican Party have snuggled up to Lou Engle, head honcho of TheCall, a drooling fundie organization that calls for martyrdom and appeals to the religiously insane nearly world-wide, as well it might.

This is a little chilling because, really, people are people whatever their beliefs, and suicide bombers are considered martyrs by the vicious subhumans that send them out. Indeed, scuttlebutt has it that the Roeder moron is being called a martyr in some circles, including Engle's. And he's still alive and whining about being in jail.
Only days before Huckabee and Gingrich received Lou Engle's endorsement at Rock Church, on Sunday May 31, 2009, late-term abortion doctor George Tiller was gunned down in the lobby of his Wichita, Kansas church. The next morning CBS's Jeff Glor reported, "We did speak with the accused shooters' ex-wife yesterday. She said she was not surprised this happened and that she believed Roeder wanted to be a martyr for the cause."
The November 1, 2008 TheCall San Diego event was the capstone event for the pro-Proposition Eight, anti-gay marriage push in California prior to the November 4, 2008 presidential election. Towards the end of the event, which attracted an estimated 30,000 attendees to San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium despite sweltering heat, TheCall founder Lou Engle, and his disciple Eddie Brown, as captured in footage taken at TheCall San Diego by documentary film-maker Michael W. Wilson made calls, from onstage before thousands of impassioned followers, for acts of Christian martyrdom. Engle has in the recent past declared that decades of legalized abortion since Roe v. Wade have incurred a blood debt which demands to be paid in blood.

"abortionist" is not the best word.
I'd go with something benign like "Women's HealthCare Provider".
And I'd hire BlackWater for security. They have a rep for shooting first and covering up/hiding from questions later!

Indeed, and if I were a politician, may whatever powers that might be forbid, I'd stay as far away from the TheCall clowns and their fellow travelers as possible.
The Republican Party needs to find themselves a new base, one that doesn't include raving lunatics and repudiate the Faustian bargan that Reagan made with those same lunatics. Somehow, I don't see it happening.

Lou Engle is nothing if not a Fascist, traitor, terror advocate, and possibly an active terrorist leader.
Taken together, Engle's call for "Christian martyrs," his statement that abortions must be paid in blood, and his declaration that "The most 'dangerous terrorist' is not Islam but God. One of God's names is avenger of blood" all add up to a declaration of war against the laws and Constitution of the United States.
Lou Engle is a man as dangerous as he is cowardly. He is like the radical Islamist mullahs, who from the safety of their mosques issue fatwas of death saying their enemies should die. Precisely like thoee mullahs, Engle leaves it to his fanatic followers to put two and two together and then do his murdering for him. He skates very close to, quite possibly over, the line dividing free speech from commanding terror.
It's well past time that the FBI, now largely freed from the theocratic influence of the Bush years, made a major move to closely investigate hate groups like Engle's TheCall, as well as Operation Rescue, and the Army of God, and bring any and all terror conspirators to justice.
