Ken Ham Adds Neverland Ranch to Growing Kiddie Fantasy Empire

AiG's Ham announces Neverland takeover

July 1, 2009, Neverland Ranch, California (SNN) -- "This is a perfect match for us," announced Ken Ham, the Christian fundamentalist preacher who already controls the highly successful Creation Museum in Kentucky. The Creation Museum uses animatronic dinosaurs to attract and entrance visiting children. Ham acquired ownership of the late Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch late today for an undisclosed sum of cash.

"Like Michael Jackson," said Ham, "I also have a mission to get to kids when they are as young as possible. Michael used ferris wheels, I use dinosaurs. He wanted to get into their hearts and pants, while I want to get into their heads and pockets. But it's pretty much the same thing, really."

The Australian-born Ham, head of the multi-million dollar tax-free evangeltainment conglomerate Answers in Genesis, has often stressed the desire to mould young minds as early as possible with Biblical ideas such as Heaven, Hell, an earth that is less than 10,000 years old, and the story of a world-wide flood and Noah's Ark.

I concur; the Ham-Jackson montage is very well done!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

Thanks, guys! That was pretty easy, given that I was working with a dark background. (Also, it helped that Jackson had bleached his skin to match perfectly.)

Great work, HM!
But, but....where's the white glove?

"We are all connected; to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, to the rest of the universe atomically."

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?"
-Neil DeGrasse Tyson
