Someone called Bodie Hodge, not content with merely misrepresenting evolution and otherwise lying about it, has not come up with some really neat-o statistics that, according to him, prove everything including the Easter Bunny. Christians are often confronted with the claim that a humanistic worldview will help society become better. Even the first Humanist Manifesto, of which belief in evolution is a subset, declared, “The goal of humanism is a free and universal society in which people voluntarily and intelligently co-operate for the common good.” But can such a statement be true?
For starters, what do the authors mean by “good”? They have no legitimate foundation for such a concept, since one person's “good” can be another's “evil.” To have some objective standard, they must borrow from the teachings of God in the Bible.
Beyond that, does evolution really teach a future of prosperity? What has been the result of evolutionary thinking in the past hundred years? Perhaps this could be a test of what is to come. Let's first look at the casualties stemming from leaders with evolutionary worldviews, beginning in the 1900s, to see the hints of what this “next level” looks like:
| And there follows said numbers.
Hey twit, the Theory of Evolution says nothing about the behavior of individuals of species, especially sapient ones. If that's the best you can come up with, you need to start studying real science and chuck that Bible as a bad job. Oh, and before I forget it, I shot and ate the Easter Bunny last Fall.
Well, I'm streachin' a little, but that cottontail was tasty enough that it could have been.

And, predictably, the twit tries to pin Hitler and Stalin on Darwin, but fails to understand history and, of course, evolutionary theory.
And then we have the old bait-and-switch. First, it's "leaders with evolutionary worldviews," and then after the "numbers," it becomes "Evolutionary teachings influenced" those leaders, a very different meaning. |

| He's even dopier than you think. The twit is, evidently, the answer guy at AiG, and here's a sample of his version of knowledge and wisdom. From Happy Jihad's House of Pancakes, who has his number: Bodie Hodge: Stop picking on the retarded. The second I read the question posed by "OB" at Answers in Genesis, I knew that Bodie Hodge saw the same thing that I had and that he was going to seize that pole dancer by the tassels. The response is called: "So Old You Can See It."
