For those who miss the Far Side, there's a webcomic replacement/tribute of sorts: The Far Left Side, with archives going back to 2006.
| This modest comic will never equal the original works of Mr. Larson, as that creative lightning strikes but once, but I hope those of you with a foot in reality's door enjoy it anyway. |
Ah, great. He's a 9/11 truther, it looks like! Oh well, they can't all be winners. Odd isn't it, how a person can be so wrong on one thing, and so right in another?

Well, most of it's pretty good, though without that extra and almost inimitable Larson impact. It's as if you're watching the second season of a top comedy show, only to find that though the same actors are all still there, the inspired writers who created the show have all been replaced with competent B-listers.
His 9/11 Truth thing really puts me off. I find that whole movement not only offensive to critical thinking, but potentially dangerous and extremely offensive to the memories of all those who died on 9/11. I suspect that some day I'll punch a Truther in the nose.
