What on Earth? #57: Spotted Record Something quite unusual is going on in this photograph.
(Hat tip to Trish. Very nice exercise idea. Thanks much!)
For one point for each question:
1. In some useful detail what's going on here?
2. What city is this?
Bonus:
3. On what date and hour was this photo taken?
Click for larger version [Note: I had this one ready to go, so I figured, why wait until afternoon or evening? Yeah, I know there's good reasons (such as my promise), but what the hey?]

Not a clue as to the city, date, or time, but this appears to be a pattern caused by sunlight reflecting off of the windows of another building, presumably the one from which the photo was taken. |

| Correct as far as that goes, but for no points.

| It sure is! Note the clear image of the partial eclipse in some of the spots of reflected light. The (silvered?) windows must have been slightly concave (maybe from the pressures from a breeze?) to have made those images.
