What on Earth? #62: Obscene Hamlet

For one point per question:

1. What's this little community's name?

2. Where is it located?

3. What's your favorite color?

Correct, correct, and damnably wrong! Nicely done for 2 points.

You are right about "too easy." I've rushed to play catch-up. I'm going to take time to try to make the next one as hard as the "Arrowhead Islands" problem.
The standings:
  1. Hal, 15 points
  2. lorddix, 4 points
  3. Randy, 3 points
  4. bngbuck, 2 points
  5. Hawks, 2 points
  6. steinhenge, 2 points
  7. Dave W., 1 point
(Ties are listed in alphabetical order.)

Sailing Soul.....

In addition to being extremely perceptive (key clue to #62 was the subject word "obscene"), Hal has extraordinary Google Skills (I suspect a lot of time Googling), and has made it a practice to be on line and checking SFN frequently to catch Mooner's posts shortly after they appear. Put it all together and you have a winner!

Congratulations, Hal for quick, accurate, perceptive work!

I just happened to know the last three off the top of my head. All I had to do was go to wikipedia for details and coordinates. I've been checking SFN more frequently of late, but I can't say I've made it a point to catch these posts right out of the gate. Truth is, I'm lazy and I generally only respond to the easy ones! Is the prize still a Veyron? 'Cause I'm not sure I would go for that. What color?

Hal.....

Add to your resumé a near-eidetic memory. The top of your head is enviably efficient in long term data storage.

The prize is indeed a Veyron. Mooner, working in conjunction with Buggati and the US Government, has arranged a stimulus package of $1.2 million payable to the Italian (well, French) company (well, actually German) who wishes to buy out the American company, TootsieToy.

In return, the artful Germans are providing a free Veyron to Mooner who is attempting to locate a new CIA boss for the Obama Administration. You,Hal, are building a strong profile for selection to that post and then driving to D.C. at over 250 mph!

Yellow!
