What on Earth? # 77: Desert Mystery

Here's a strange pattern across a remote desert landscape.

For one point per question:

1. What is this?

2. What's its name?

3. Where is it?

I assume this is an abandoned air field. As to which and where, I've no idea.

Hint #1: I was looking at some real Native American geoglyphs in the vicinity when I spotted this abandoned airfield.

At first, I thought this was another geoglyph.

It's off of Route 62 right next to the "Rubber Tree".

And it's the old Rice Army airfield.

That one was fun!

Never found the geoglyphs. If you don't mind my asking, where are they?

There's a group of geoglyphs about 19 miles away from the old airbase, following a bearing of about 160 degrees. The best is probably the one at 33°47'43.75"N, 114°32'12.46"W.
