I had that feeling of familiarity, but maybe it was just the product.
Heh, as luck would have it, he was still hanging around when I saw the spam. I sent him a brief PM.

I'll not reproduce it, but it wasn't pretty nor even very imaginative. I was in hurry to get it out before he split, you see. Opportunity lost due to getting fancy is like a hole in the coin purse. The more you put in, the less you end up with.
I too, hope he saw it and it caused him to reflect upon his sins. If nothing else, it might have inspired him to show a little class whilst committing them.

If you go to your "Outbox" there's a list of messages you've sent.
Hover your mouse over the  -icon. You'll have a small box of text telling you if the reciever have seen it.
If the icon looks like this  it means that the user haven't seen your post in the inbox yet, or when he first views the inbox since the message was sent. Once the inbox has been viwed since the message arrived, the star disappears. And the hover text says "John Doe has read this message yet."
There's no telling if the contents of the message has been read. (I think there's a bug in the software there)
Filthy, the message to the spammer will remain in your outbox until the spammer deletes the post, so if it's gone from your outbox, then there's a good chance he read it and got annoyed enough to delete it...
