Ouch!!
It's really nothing that we didn't already suspect to the point of certitude, but ouch anyway.... Cleaners 'worth more to society' than bankers - study By Martin Shankleman, Employment correspondent, BBC News Hospital cleaners play a vital role, the study found Hospital cleaners are worth more to society than bankers, a study suggests.
The research, carried out by think tank the New Economics Foundation, says hospital cleaners create £10 of value for every £1 they are paid.
It claims bankers are a drain on the country because of the damage they caused to the global economy.
They reportedly destroy £7 of value for every £1 they earn. Meanwhile, senior advertising executives are said to "create stress".
The study says they are responsible for campaigns which create dissatisfaction and misery, and encourage over-consumption.
Waste workers promote recycling, researchers note And tax accountants damage the country by devising schemes to cut the amount of money available to the government, the research suggests.
By contrast, child minders and waste recyclers are also doing jobs that create net wealth to the country.

But before we get too exercised over this, historically it has ever been so, and I see little change in the future. "Them as has, gits" but it's nice to see it in widely-read print. And, historically, as this is the stuff revolutions are made of, the "upper classes" become an even bigger drag on a society than noted in the article.

Words fail me..... What the hell does she do to rate that kind of scratch?
But then again, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised -- that bloated, junked-out sewer-toad, Limbaugh, who has yet to be anything of benefit to anything, gets even more -- destroying $50 to every $1 earned, maybe?

It's a crazy world we live in. But what she does to deserve the money she gets is that she attracts sponsors. That's how the stations that carry her show make their money. So they don't want to lose her.
I'm not defending this of course. But I bet if the justices on the Supreme Court depended on ratings for their pay, they would be getting more money too. Of course, they would also run the risk of being fired...
