You know those lawn signs that read "Remember the Christ in Christmas"? I venture to guess that those people wouldn't want "Remember the goddess Oestre/Ostara in Easter" when the time comes around.

An interesting bit of mythology, but, actually, an egg-laying bunny is just as believable as a goddess or a Jewish zombie, at Easter time. 'Tis, after all, the glorious Season as according to the Solar Calendar, when rabbits get randy and bass fishermen take leave of their senses.
I might suggest an Easter anti-zombie sign in the yard for good Easter luck.
Or failing that, take the sign back to basics:

I'm thinking of putting up a "Happy Birthday, Jesus" banner, or (more subtle, perhaps) "It's a Boy!"
Or, around Easter, urging people to celebrate "Miraculous Conception-of-Jesus Day" (night?). |

I would suggest that it is actually a bastard Jewish zombie. (Joseph bought that story hook, line, and sinker) |
