Why? He meets with anti-theist "hate group".

I guess that this is what they're whining about?

More here.

Jesus, he meets with ONE group and they whine like crazy. Even just throwing non-believers a bone is enough to set those fuckers off. What do they want?

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

*Sigh!* Reading some of the links, especially to the one to the christian site, I want to reply, but I am not willing to "sign up" to do so. They'd probably just delete my post anyway and ban me. It seems that for them, anything that is not lock-step their way is "hate" by definition. I wonder what it is like to live with such a narrow set of definitions.

I am pleased that one of the highest priorities for the meeting was medical neglect. The Kara Neumanns and Ava Worthingtons of the world need someone advocating for them, since the religious absolutely will not. How tragic is it when your political enemies need to advocate for your children? How can anyone be so blinded by dogma that their own children are mere expendable cogs in a dogmatic meat grinder, when you perceive their lethal conditions as tests for your faith?

There is much we could complain about - that Obama himself didn't make an appearance, say - but just the idea that the White House even met with non-believers and secularists is a tremendous step forward. Just on that basis only, we must expect petulant tantrums and wild accusations and other high noise, low signal nonsense. What can one expect from people who don't even recognize us as humans - from people who's holy books would see us murdered and then call murder "good." How can one even begin to approach, in a human, amiable way such incredibly vicious hard-line dogmatism? And then they wonder how people like me can describe themselves as "anti-theists."

I don't have a choice. How can I possibly be "for" their mentality?

Feel free to quote the above on the thread you linked to, Ig, if you are so inclined to do so.
