David Gorsky at Science Based Medicine has posted "In honor of World Homeopathy Awareness Week 2010," a post about a supposed mechanism for homeopathy.

Maybe it's just me, but this "mechanism," as "explained" in the John Benneth video there, seems indistinguishable from utterly meaningless sciency gobbledygook, a sort of tossed salad of persecution complex, chemistry, nuclear physics, and name-dropping, all topped with a thick, cheesy Woo dressing.

Homeopath Benneth should go on the Catskills comedy circuit.

Gorsky has provided links where pro-science people (Steve Novella and Orac) dissect this barrage of garbage.

Yeah, he's either a flaming lunatic, or is hoping his target audience is. I'm betting on the latter.

I was recently arguing with John Benneth (AKA Bandershot on YouTube), and he can't have a logical argument to save his life. He's fixated on hating James Randi, especially his homosexuality, and it's ad hominem after ad hominem after ad hominem. He's pathetic.
