Hey, I'm for it. The idea is humorous, but this really is a form of gymnastics. It's not as though this were lap dancing.
I could imagine rules requiring "decent" tights to be worn by competitors. Just because pole dancing has a sleazy origin doesn't mean it is not a physically demanding activity, suitable for sports competition. I'd like to see what could be accomplished when serious professional trainers and choreographers get involved. |

If Lap Dancing ever becomes an event, I'll volunteer to judge the competition.
