This time the idiocy is in one of his Sun columns.
This fuckwit takes a bunch of irrelevant personal potshots at Dawkins and Hitchens, talking about how the "money pours in" for their "acts", while pretending that he give a fuck about justice.

Is this guy out of his mind? Benedict has been "tireless"? In what? Cleaning up the church? Is he fucking kidding us?
Anyone ever ask how much money pours in the the Catholic coffers?
Remember the Tu Quoque fallacy? Coren sure as hell doesn't.
To apply their logic, we would need to do a lot of arresting. The vast majority of sexual abuse occurs in the family, generally by step-brothers and boyfriends of mothers.
The next highest amount comes from teachers. These two institutions and people account for more than 75% of all charges, compared to less than 2% for the church.
Next are sports coaches, with some horribly infamous cases in hockey.
Other sports are equally bad, with one swimming coach in the United States being moved from team to team even after he was revealed as a pedophile. |
Yes, their logic should, and IS applied. Does this idiot fucking believe that Dawkins, Hitchens, and anyone else on the planet think that those people should get away with that? WTF?
At least with those examples, when that shit is found out, there is no large international organization that works to cover them up, even with the swimming coach that, Coren, with his interest in justice, doesn't name, they eventually get found out, busted, and (I would hope) that those who covered for him got nailed too).
The Catholic church keeps covering up, making excuses, the list of which grows longer (some of which you'll see in this column of Coren's), yet instead of demanding justice himself he just goes on and says that it happens elsewhere. So fucking what? It's still wrong. At least with those other cases, those guys face justice at some point.
How is complaining of other groups abuses, while making light of his own group's escapades show any moral consistency?
At least some of his readers are calling him on this.

| Coren's getting torn limb from limb on his own turf. Some of his detractors seem dangerously angry. I guess Coren's one of those people who believe "If it doesn't work, do it again, but more forcefully." Pedophile-protecting idiot. |

Well, it seems that Coren has taken notice of the angry comments in his Sun column, since he says here:
