Lebenon and Israel are fighting; going at it hammer & tongs with -- wait for it -- hummus.
BEIRUT — Lebanon on Saturday claimed another victory in the continuing battle with Israel over which country can make the largest plate of the chickpea delicacy hummus -- with a 10-tonne broadside.
More than 300 chefs set the new record for hummus, which the Lebanese say is their national dish despite Israeli claims, in the presence of a Guinness World Records representative who confirmed its weight at 10,452 kilograms.

Hey I saw that no fly list of yours. It's got only your own name on it, scrawled by your own hand. Fact is, you won't board any aircraft unless they let you wear a diving suit-and-helmet with lead boots.
I loves that hummus, too. So fine on toasted flatbread. |

| Now why would someone want to be on a no-fly list? Wouldn't it be easier to just not get on a plane if you didn't want to fly? |

Mmmm....me luvs teh hummus. Togo's sub shops here in Oregon have hummus available; goes good with avocado.

Hummus is easy to make and I often grind some to dip soda crackers in whilst watching NASCAR.
It does not matter if the no-fly list is no more than a minuscule, ineffective, private effort to thwart the Bushian totalitarianism of the airlines, it is a no-fly list nevertheless.

Send them over a semi-load of Triscut.
I luv hummus! Especially now since I bought a real nice food processor. I'll make a batch and throw in a jalapeno pepper for some zing. Maybe make a batch with a half cup of black olives thrown in. |

Black olives sounds excellent! I do mine with some habenero salsa piquante -- a little goes a long way, and a few drops are sufficent. Eat a cracker or two, or three or four, then kick back and bask in the glow.
