This is unintentially the most funny thing I've seen all month.

Get a load of the "true case studies". It's getting harder and harder to believe that this site is serious.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Ha!

Were I not already convinced that the whole lot at Conservapedia really are wholly that delusional and immune to even the most basic self-examination, I would have to conclude this was 100% Poe.

It's as though they are trying to parody themselves, but are simply too heavy-handed in executing the farce.

That is indistinguishable from something you'd read on The Onion.

Every once in a while, when I am bogged down in depression and self-loathing, I browse Conservapedia. Blatant mendacity bordering on the pathological helps lighten the mood -- as demonstrated in this very OP.

I wonder how many of the people listed in the article actually exist, if any. I also note that the article fails to mention the various conservatives in public office that have been caught in some pretty sticky affairs. It would seem that Conservapedia has done what conservatives do best; cherry-pick the info and twist it around, and that bamboozle can be found throughout the site. Wonderful stuff, if you dig low comedy!

Those case studies are written like a bad third grade story problem,

"Adam had no apples and Eve had one apple, if Eve gives her apple to Adam and the liberal media tells him its ok to eat it, how many Jews are to blame for Jesus' death?"

Answer: all of them, past, present and future

"...things I have neither seen nor experienced nor heard tell of from anybody else; things, what is more, that do not in fact exist and could not ever exist at all. So my readers must not believe a word I say." -Lucian on his book True History

"...They accept such things on faith alone, without any evidence. So if a fraudulent and cunning person who knows how to take advantage of a situation comes among them, he can make himself rich in a short time." -Lucian critical of early Christians c.166 AD From his book, De Morte Peregrini
