Don't miss these interviews with Muntadhar Al-Zaidi, the journalist who threw his shoes at George Bush.

He thought he was going to die. So did I.

Glad to know the guy's ok. I was wondering.

The saddest part of the whole affair is that he missed.

When I decided to hit Bush with the shoe it was a natural reaction to the killing of a million of my people, the orphaning of 5 million children, widowing of one million women, resulting in tens of thousand of handicapped persons, tens of thousands of prisoners in American jails in Iraq, and the everyday scandals caused by the American occupation:rape, Abu Ghraib prison, bringing down the roofs on people's heads with the Apache helicopters, and F16 planes.

Despite all this, Bush was saying the Iraqi people are happy, and the Americans liberated the Iraqi people and the Iraqi people welcomed the Americans with flowers.

Interesting.

(But I'm leery of interviews that do not have the interviewer and interviewee in the same scene.)

While I don't condone assaulting any president, maybe this will make Bush think more carefully before he acts again.

How much more damage can he do? He's not president anymore.

What I'd like to see is him on trial for crimes against the American people, the Iraqi people, and humanity. But then, Guantanamo is still open...

I don't condone actually doing anything to damage a president, as it wouldn't do any good. Another would take his place. However, this was two good missiles that made Bush take notice. He had never noticed anyone other than himself and his supporters before. Not that he knew what was going on, but he had to take notice.

And yeah, he's not president anymore, but he will still work to do whatever damage that he can.
