Neat site and the photography is excellent. I have at least a passing familiarity with all but a couple of them, but, when it comes to freaky fauna, I can come up with some beauts.

Only distantly related. It's also one of the few venomous mammals, with grooved teeth for delivery. There is another species on Hispaniola.

Yet another example of how we are probably descended from earlier life forms (evolution) and not created separately over a few days by a master designer or any other such fantasy. This actually shows how an "intelligent" designer didn't design a giraffe or did a very stupid job. The evidence is there for all who wish to see the facts. Freaky can also be tiny and commonplace. Here is a pea crab, Pinnotheres pisum, ensconced in a mussel.
When found in a raw oyster and eaten with it, they have a slightly, tart flavor.
