Folks can say what they want, but I think this is one of the things that make our political system great. 'Most any other system, Mr. Marceaux would be cooling his heels in the Soddy Daisy House of Hoo-Hah.

A couple of years ago, he would have had me at no "measuring of the waist." But since I've lost a good amount of weight now, he's also lost me as a supporter.

I first heard about this guy on The Colbert Report. It was a hilarious segment:

Oh hell no; I don't want to have a beer with him. Whadda hell, the guy's a flake!
But wouldn't it be fun watching him govern? And, maybe, just maybe, he'd be a cut above many of the douchebags currently in, and aspiring to office -- unless he turns teabagger, of course.
