Well, ginger seems to have an effect on nausea. I recall the Mythbusters test of different "cures" for motion-sickness. Acupressure was one of them, which failed. Ginger-pills was the one that worked. And it wasn't placebo of ginger either, because they tried placebo and Adam got motion sickness with it. Now, I haven't seen any serious tests involving Ginger yet but that doesn't mean there aren't any out there.
But I'd hazard the guess that is the Ginger in the preggie pops that does the trick. Then again, maybe it's just the low but constant influx of sugar holding the blood sugar elevated that does the trick. It worked for me when I am feeling nauseated from tramadol and oxycodone. |
