"Should we register Muslims like we register guns?" they ask. Right-wing radio station: ‘Gun owners have to register, why not Muslims?’
By Raw Story Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 -- 6:32 pm
A conservative talk radio station in San Diego has a pressing question to ask its listeners: Should "practicing Muslims" be "registered" on a national database during a time of war?
KFMB 760 AM, the San Diego home of such right-wing on-air personalities as Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage, reportedly asked the question on its Web site Wednesday, according to Ben Dimiero at MediaMatters.
"During a time of war, should we register as many practicing Muslims as we can find in a national database?" the poll asked.
Voters were given two options to choose from: "No, it's an invasion of privacy," and "Yes, gun owners have to, why not Muslims?"
The poll had already been removed from the site as of Wednesday evening.

So, the way it looks to me, the teabagging pussies got a little scared and took the poll down.
But it raises an interesting question: In a time of war, even wars such as the futile ones we are currently involved in, should the Constitution be ignored? If so, I can think of a number of Christians, some 87,000 give or take for starts, that could be eligible for a potential, maybe/sort'a, just-in-case terrorist list.

Yeah, registering the Jewish people in Germany during the early 20th century worked out so well... /sarcasm |

Register them, but only if we also make them wear a crescent to let everyone know they are muslims...
Honestly, the people suggesting this shit have to be the most retarded, ignorant, stupid, bunch of assholes in the US. Except for maybe the neo-cons.

Gee, that approach worked real well against the Nissei.
It's something that I don't think we need to do again. |
