Looks like Mr.Comfort has been broadening the scope of his scientific expertise. His knowledge of physics is now very nearly as impressive as is his knowledge of evolutionary biology.

Ray Comfort says Prof. Stephen Hawking is "unscientific"

In The Time's extracts of Stephen Hawking's new book, The Grand Design, the physicist writes,

"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist."

"It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going."

But wait a second. Did Hawking forget to run this by Ray first? BIG mistake!!!

"It is embarrassingly unscientific to speak of anything creating itself from nothing," says Comfort. "Common sense says that if something possessed the ability to create itself from nothing, then that something wasn't nothing, it was something -- a very intelligent creative power of some sort."

"Hawking has violated the unspoken rules of atheism," the evangelist adds. "He isn't supposed to use words like 'create' or even 'made.' They necessitate a Creator and a Maker. Neither are you supposed to let out that the essence of atheism is to believe that nothing created everything, because it's unthinking. It confirms the title of another book I wrote, called, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence, but You Can't Make Him Think. Nor should an atheist speak of gravity as being a 'law,' because that also denotes the axiom of a Law-giver. Laws don't happen by themselves. But look at how careless the professor was, with his, 'The Big Bang was the result of the inevitable laws of physics and did not need God to spark the creation of the Universe.'"

Is there anything that Ray Comfort doesn't know? Well, you know. Aside from how banana's were purposely bred for human consumption?

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Atheism has rules? I didn't know that. If rules exist, then it is just like a religion, is it not? Fuck that; henceforth, I am an unatheist!

Don't you think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black?

Oh Yeah! Here's what I see going on. Theist won't because they can't, explain where their God came from and they are unable to prove the existence of which ever God they believe in. They say, "something cannot come from nothing" but say nothing about where their God came from or how some "God" created everything form nothing. Their God created everything from nothing but its a God and Hwakins isn't Other than that their "God" can do anything thing just by thinking of it. They can't prove a single thing, of what the believe. It's all based on "Faith". With their supreme ignorance right out the gate, they've got room to laugh? There isn't a single christian that is able to believe 100% of their own delusion. No religious doctrine is without contradictions. That's why there are so many different christian doctrines and so many sects of every religion that exists. Theists can't even agree on which "flavor" of dogma is true reality or correct because none of them are. Groping in the dark and coming up with fantastical explanations is what Theists bring to the table. Hawkins is at least trying to understand this mystery we all find ourselves living, theist base their beliefs on writing from other who had very little understanding of the simplest things like the causes of floods earthquakes Theist got absolutely nothing to laugh at, except themselves. How do you scare a theist? Practice "Science"! They're terrified of what it is doing to their delusions. Every year, month and week discoveries are made to our knowledge of the universe.

I view Theists like vampires who are unable to exist in the light of knowledge and understanding. They can only live by trying to suck the life out of others not like themselves and are unable to see what they really are, even with a mirror. SS

There are only two types of religious people, the deceivers and the deceived. SS
