Kil.....
A very clever piece of work, overall, but I fear they succumbed to a bit of overkill at about halfway through the piece. Bringing Shermer on to debunk the spoof was a great ploy, but he gave it away at the end of his cameo with the wink, wink bit.
I do appreciate that these folks are pretty clever satirists; however I think it could be a much more persuasive piece of Skepticism with a little more modulation. But it is true, to paraphrase Barnum, that no one ever went broke underestimating the stupidity of evangelicals, and I'm sure some Christian apologetics will use it to illustrate the outrageous extremism of "left wing crazies". |

Be careful, don't blow a fuse. It's satirical art imitating life. Sort of the same kind of thinking we've heard around here. Who knew the woman's liberation movement would not only free up women from their burden of serving a man's need but also liberate self described heterosexual men into a new age where they can feel comfortable taking up the slack with other men and still consider themselves a heterosexual, also not having any guilt about infidelity toward their partner. C'est la vie. SS |
