There is pumpkin carving in my near future. We got three small freebies and one big one (at .69/lb). My wife says the small ones (6-8" diameter) are "too small" for carving. Should I believe her?
I'd like to make a puking pumpkin this year. Do I need to leave the seeds in the "puke" for authenticity, or can I roast 'em like I really, really want to? |

Yes, they are too small. They are great for making pumpkin pie, though.
Puking pumpkin. I'd take the seeds out. you still get the desired effect and get some roasted goodness with only 20 minutes baking. |

A puking pumpkin would be really funny. You could have it puke up candy corns because that is a candy that is "pukable"

That T.T.S.S gives a very interesting explanaitonto his/her philosophy.
there is only one site i know of. you will find it if you are seeking as a child. you too will meet the people. not familiar with this site of yours though. interesting.
we all come into this "world" blameless as children but, like creation mentioned previously, and of no fault of our own, have encoded within us historic traumas, guilt, evils. these must be unblocked, cleansed, purified that we may continue to grow, progress, evolve in universal synchronicity. the question is, how to clean? as mentioned earlier, blood is a symbol for life, and is thus the agent through which life can be sustained by clearing all past blood-related, life-degrading traumas. it's inherent value derives from the intent for which it was created: life, love for life. some turn to the blood of the so-called perfect and righteous person jesus christ as the one atonement for all creation, the claimed benefits of which have not yet been fully realized for creation. others throughout the ages and in various ways have employed blood laced with generational trauma to keep creation periodically maintained and in "balance" as we journey through the various cycles of the precession.
what, then, becomes of all children? to clear the navels during the era of the stars, children were of preference due to relatively "pure" blood, full of goodness and life, untainted by thoughts and intentions of desire, lust, greed, murder. therefore, what happens would wholly depend on what system of replenishment for creation we desire to choose. we are nearing the time of choice now. 10/28/2011 is the beginning of the "purification" promised in indigenous prophecies, keepers of the wisdom of the star nations.

| I have memories of a Saturday Night Live bit from nearly 30 years ago where a pumpkin was being carved and blood came running out. I wonder if it cleared anyone's trauma. |

Here, I am judged on what I am presenting as fact and evidence, not my religion. I also don't make the mistake of presenting my religion as fact to others.

The best tools to carve pumpkins are hacksaw blades (I wrap duct tape on one end for a handle) and specific use pumpkin-carving knives. High tooth-per-inch count is good, sharpness is a non-factor. Draw the pattern using a sharpie and undercut the design. Work out to the final design pattern.
I cut a low hole in the side in order to light the candle. Use one of those long lighters for the candle.
On the SNL skit: I still get the willies from the Julia child blood-pouring skit. |

Last year I took a cheap, small LED flashlight, stuck the business end in some loosely-wadded tissue paper for a diffuser and it worked great. Lit the whole pumpkin well and there was zero risk of fire or burns.| On the SNL skit: I still get the willies from the Julia child blood-pouring skit. |

I've been considering something on the order of that, but I am making permanent low-voltage xmas lights (that can be hidden behind a snap-on moulding for the other 11 months) which takes some precedence in terms of simplifying my life. |
