From D.J. Grothe:
The vigorous discussion of "Our Future In Space" among Pamela Gay, Lawrence Krauss, Bill Nye, and Neil deGrasse Tyson was one of the most memorable moments at TAM 2011 Las Vegas. We invite you to enjoy the video of this great panel discussion. |
I am very happy the JREF posted this panal discussion. It was the best panal I have seen at TAM, and that's saying something. I do believe that it was the first to actually get a standing ovation. Enjoy some of the fireworks between Krauss and Tyson. And then there was Pamela Gay shushing Tyson a few times. Anyhow, here it is. Take the time to watch the whole thing. You won't be disappointed:

If this leads to a discussion here, all the better.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.
Why not question something for a change?

That was a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for posting, Kil. |

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?" -Neil DeGrasse Tyson |
