They aren't even selling the motors, just the plans for the motor which you then have to build yourself. The U.S. patents at the bottom of the sales page describe some sort of arrangement of spinning magnets "which are to be propelled." How are they to be propelled? They don't say.
But Hojo Motors sure does promote the hell of out "evil energy companies" conspiracy angle. This website claims "Hojo Motors" is just the "Tesla's Secret" scam repackaged.

So let's see. They have a device that is a physical impossibility, according to the physics that we know now.
Two of the testimonials are from guys selling the same plans, and are probably the people running this site. Otherwise, why send people to the competition?
And then there is their claim that the patent's mean the device works.
The filing of a patent application is a clerical task, and the USPTO won't refuse filings for perpetual motion machines; the application will be filed and then most probably rejected by the patent examiner, after he has done a formal examination.[15] Even if a patent is granted, it doesn't mean that the invention actually works; it just means that the examiner thinks that it works, or that he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.[15] |

When trying to close the website tab, it interrupts the action, "I know you want to leave our website, but...." Pushy!

Ha! I used my head and got the Magnificent Magic Motor Plans for only $29.97. All you idiots had to pay a lot more! And my motor is AC/DC, completely silent, churns ice cream in 92 flavors and actually prints money when it isn't producing megawatts of FREE, FREE, FREE electricity for me. Don't you wish you had only paid $29.97 for your motor?
And don't tell me you found another HOJO website and paid less than me, or my head will explode!
You can't make this shit up!
But, obviously, somebody can |

| See, things are changing for the better. $29.97 use to get you a copper bracelet, pictured with lightning bolts (not included). |
