We've just been given an incredible opportunity, but we need to act fast.
MoveOn.org – the powerful grassroots organization with over five million members – might promote the effort to get the FDA to label GMOs to their supporters...but only if we show MoveOn that people care about how their food is produced!
Here's the deal: MoveOn has a sister site called SignOn.org where anyone can create a petition. If enough people sign the petition, they'll promote it to MoveOn.org members.
Last week, to leverage this amazing opportunity, Eric Schlosser, author of Fast Food Nation, and Gary Hirshberg, Chairman of Stonyfield Farm, created a page on SignOn.org where you can submit comments to the FDA. Now we need your help proving to MoveOn that this is a popular petition that people really care about.
Please, take two minutes and help convince MoveOn to promote this petition by signing it and then forwarding it along to your friends!
IMPORTANT: A big part of how MoveOn will judge the popularity of the petition will be to look at how many friends and family were sent the petition.
