The iSink costs $199 and weighs just 1 kilogram.

Selling this companies stock short is a shure bet. They are gonna go broke from settling the class action suit brought by all the people getting the impeller tangled in their hair...safe for you and me I guess but Kil is in for some difficult phone calls...

Oh, no trouble getting entangled in hair. It's so hot, it burns right through hair.

Yeah, that fan will blow hot right into a person's face.

Might give a person that cool wind-swept look for a few seconds before their eyeballs dessicate.

I know that this is parody, but come on! The fan isn't anywhere near the thing it's supposed to cool. Shouldn't you have placed it so that it's behind the iPhone at least?

(/pedant)
Oh wait...those little tubes are supposed to take the heated uh, liquid to the fan to get cooled and then returns the cooled liquid back to the phone.

Kind of like a fridge?

Hey, I just got up, dammnit!

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Yeah, heat pipes are a neat (and to me, surprising) physics/technology. Phase change physics is the trick. There's much better heat exchange through heat pipes than even through solid copper alone. I got that part right because I did a bit of actual modding back in the day.

They are cool!

In the simplest application they use thermal convection without any additional input of energy to circulate the working fluid and thus move and concentrate heat. With more complex applications like by adding a compressor to move the working fluid you have an Air Conditioner, refrigerator or freezer.
