Foundation's "Slay Fighting Talk" campaign seeks final solution for violence-laced words in public argument

Washington DC, March 7, 2012 (MNN) - "When have you seen a strong social opinion presented in recent years without the inclusion of violent, over-the-top hyperbole? I'll tell you when: Never!" said John Sonjohn, spokesperson for SHITE (Slay Hyperbole In Talk Everywhere), a branch of the Richard and Doris Deevus Memorial Orphans Foundation.

Mr Sonjohn spoke to an attentive crowd of SHITE supporters gathered at the Washington Mall.

"It is intolerable that public discourse has sunken to such depths. So SHITE has tonight launched a multimillion dollar national media campaign to restore peaceful and reasoned public discourse to this nation. We call the campaign, 'Slay Fighting Talk'.

"We are calling for the extermination of all violent hyperbole at once," said Sonjohn. "We want it killed, slaughtered, massacred, butchered, liquidated, extirpated. Only when such words have been knocked down, kicked in the head and then thrown under the bus of our national debate can our democracy once again engage in the peaceable market of ideas."

Gotta be the Shadows or Skarans. Maybe Movellians.

You could meet me half way with Davros.
