| Horay! I got a second one. One more than I ever expected, actually two more. I'm now tie with a stopped watch but way slower, it took me weeeeks to be right twice!. Charles Ponzi. I like the time period you chose the picture from Mooner. For me it was a clue, was it intended? |

Damn, you're right, and so quickly! Charles Ponzi it is. He after whom the Ponzi Scheme is named. Bernie Madoff admitted his own much more colossal recent swindle was nothing but a huge Ponzi Scheme.
The period dress is more an half-accident stemming from my methods than a deliberate hint. I saw a photo of Ponzi in a 1920's straw boater hat, and I then went looking for silent movie photos. So I think I was semi-consciously influenced by the first to think of the second, but without deliberately trying to give a hint. |
