Correct! D'Sousa is the President of The King's College in Manhattan. King's was bankrupt in 1997 when Campus Crusade for Christ took it over and made it a wholly-owned subsidiary. In 2010, they hired D'Sousa as President.

Dinesh D'Sousa is a Mumbai-born American citizen of Goan Catholic ancestry. He converted from Catholicism to evangelical Christianity while living in the US. D'Sousa is politically extremely conservative to the point of wingnuttery, making the following fantasy argument with incredibly stretched logic:
"...[O]ur President is trapped in his father's time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s. This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anticolonial ambitions, is now setting the nation's agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son. The son makes it happen, but he candidly admits he is only living out his father's dream. The invisible father provides the inspiration, and the son dutifully gets the job done. America today is governed by a ghost."
D'Sousa is religiously conservative as well. He is a proponent of Intelligent Design. He has debated Daniel Dennett over whether god is a human invention.

A pro-colonialism Indian? Interesting...

I watched D'Souza kick Shermer's ass in a debate. It was sad, like Shermer didn't want to be there and wasn't even trying.

Perhaps the Hitches/D'Sousa debate will cheer you up, Thor. Hitch never, or hardly ever, wimped out. The nine other portions of the debate are available at the above link.

In all he says, Dinesh D'Sousa is a slimy SOB. His "logic" could best be described as being "Jesuitical."

What I'm getting most clearly from watching the debate above is a sense of D'Sousa's immense dishonesty, and a lack of any new, interesting point aside from those hoary twists of logic that apologists have always made. His main tactics are ad hom attacks against Hitch and other atheists, and the denigration of science. D'Sousa had said at the outset of the debate that he would stick strictly to evidence, and not argue from dogma, but he lied about that, too.

D'Sousa at one point baldly tells the lie that Einstein was a "Theist." Hitch corrects this at once pointing out that Einstein was at most a Deist, believing in "the god of Spinoza." (D'Sousa lamely mutters something about there being a big difference between Deism and Spinosa.)

He also tries to put words into Hitch's mouth (as with his brazen claim that Hitch believes in God, but merely hates him) in order to try to make him a more convenient strawman.

Hitch isn't convenient like that upon demand. This debate is a marvel to behold. In my opinion, Hitchens goes for the win.
