Kil suggested this Face also, and is not allowed to "guess" who it is.

Hint #1: With apologies to the anagram haters, this person likes to be thought of as "Vibe Lighting".

So is he a "Big Evil Thing"?

I've never seen Ed Brayton in profile.

That's sort of a partial answer, as Dave's is sort on an indirect answer, perhaps based upon your partial answer, but with the correct name included.

Sigh. Everyone's messing with me. Executive decision time: I'm calling moakley's answer correct on the basis of being the first, so long as he confirms (I'll trust his word) that Ed Brayton was who he was thinking of. And it's "Evil Big Thing" to honor Jessica Ahlquist being called an "evil little thing" by Rhode Island State Representative Peter G. Palumbo. Not "Big Evil Thing."

Yes, Ed Brayton is a former professional comic, turned "political atheist" (in PZ Myers' words), and runs not only his own blog, Dispatches from the Culture Wars, but also established Freethought Blogs (FtB). The Conservapedia entry for Brayton mostly dwells on him being corpulent. Brayton is kind of a cross between a liberal and a libertarian.

Players: Please be unambiguous!

Now, moakley, please confirm your answer was (or was not) meant to apply to Ed Brayton, so I can tote up the scores to the present time.

The hard part was getting Ed to hold still while I digitally saved his beard off.

You have to give this one to Dave.

Okay, thanks, will do. I knew you'd be honest.

Here are the present rankings for Faces 101 to 130:

1. On fire for Christ: 10
2. moakley: 7
3. Kil 4
4. H.Humbert: 3 (and) Dave W.: 3
5. sailingsoul: 1 (and) podcat: 1

(Note: Face # 129 was not counted, due to a "Terry Pratchett" moment.)

Moakley is gaining on On fire for Christ. Does OffC have the God-inspired endurance to maintain his lead over moakley and the ravening heathen pack?

But, er, oops. I thought for some fatal moments that moakley was you (?) Or something. Duh!

Well, do you, sailingsoul, agree that this one goes to Dave W., or do you claim the honest win? I will change the scores, if needed, according to your word.

SS probably meant to say, "an," not "am."

Thanks, moak!

Nothing to do with democracy, and everything to do with the fact that SS wrote nothing in this thread until after moak said you should give the point to me.

But, but, but . . . my mistake in accepting the wrong guy giving the win to you, that doesn't justify anything. Er, right? (Hell, this is not only not a democracy, it isn't the kid of dictatorship that makes the trains run on time, either.)

I wouldn't even bother listing me as actually playing because I can't play all of them. In the future, I'll just PM Mooner with my answer. Hell... I didn't even recall that I gave Mooner one of my picks.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.
