| I had a pretty great Birthday weekend. Dim Sum on Sunday was my favorite part. And we also went to the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits. Fun! |

Hey, I got a promotion at work. I'm pretty happy about that and the increase in pay isn't bad either.
I have a great boss. He was looking at the job openings (and by extension the job descriptions) and found out I was already doing the job. So he put me up for the position.

Edit: I helped negotiate a similar promotion for myself and my co-workers a few years back. That was even before I became active in the union.
