A few months after SFN came into existence, the Psychic Friends Network from whom we stole our name declared bankruptcy. All of those psychics didn't see it coming.
But here they are again. This, by way of Doubtful News:
Psychic Friends Network 2.0
They will be a much higher tech version of their former selves.
DN: I find it very amusing that an ancient pre-scientific belief in psychics and astrology is now accessible via 21st century technology. We’ve come a long way (not really).
These numbers are a bit eyeopening – 70 million Americans look at their daily horoscope. It might be a stretch to assume they use them for “spiritual guidance” or just as a habit. But, there is no doubt that there is high interest in these subjects (unsinkable rubber ducks, they are) and that the PFN is out to exploit that, especially in times of uncertainty when people look for guidance wherever they can. |
