By Greta Christina

A friend has been insisting for some time that us atheists should get together and figure out how to communicate with religious folks, lest we do it improperly. Even before Greta Christina's book, I found that notion odd and her book confirms that we already know how to communicate: it takes many kinds of approaches and arguments, a shotgun approach to try and instill rational doubt and inquiry. Greta has received emails from formerly hardcore believers thanking her for helping them down the path of enlightenment, and there are a variety of reasons and a variety of "the final thing" that caused them to renounce faith.

Greta's book reads like her blogs, but that's a good thing, as it's light and funny although the content can be heavy. It could still use some condensing because there were a few times when it was like I was rereading a paragraph, but ah we'll. If you aren't up for reading the whole book, it's good as a quick reference guide. Recommended.
