Quackery and Mumbo-Jumbo in the U.S. Military

While the writer leads with the recent "bomb detector" idiocy, the article primarily focuses on alt-med woo that is, apparently, being embraced by the military. Apparently, "battlefield acupuncture" is a thing.

Good article!

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

It occurred to me that many Christian fundamentalists reject "ungodly" Eastern practices, such as acupuncture and yoga. Christian fundamentalists also have a significant footprint in the armed forces. It would be interesting to know how this alt-med stuff is received by that crowd.
