On my way home from work today, I found a Jack Chick Tract, "The Choice," posted on one of our community bulletin boards.
There are a couple things that are particularly interesting about this one.
First of all, I work at the Naval Postgraduate School. For those who don't know, it's a graduate school primarily for military officers (US and foreign) and DoD civilians to work on Master's Degrees and PhDs while focusing our studies on items of particular interest to the military.
Here's what makes that tract particularly annoying to me: it's posted in a place of higher education, and it's posted in a place intended for military personnel.
The other interesting thing about this is on Page 10: "Satan also uses education. Many think they are too smart to accept this one truth." Whoever posted this tract is probably a student here!

I prefer this version of that tract.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.
Another example of this guy's lunacy here. |

Given the massive infiltration of Christian theocrats into the Air Force Academy, it was only a matter of time before they went after the Navy. |

THAT is awesome!
Particularly if he dressed and danced like all six of them at the same time. . . .

I think you should complain about it. Have you? Or can anything be posted? |
Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

What a powerful and convincing message,,,, not. It's like spam from Nigeria, there are those out there who will buy or have bought that unfounded delusion. |
There are only two types of religious people, the deceivers and the deceived. SS |

I think you should complain about it. Have you? Or can anything be posted? | Honestly, I don't think it's worth officially complaining about it, since the bulletin board is for fellow students to advertise (like home rentals, car sales, business opportunities, etc.). It is not officially sanctioned or policed by the school.
I am, however, going to put up an SFN flier. I just need to find/create one, eh? |

Today I found something from Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron in the Physics Department student lounge and work area.
I spent a (very) small amount of time on their website, www.livingwaters.com, and stumbled upon this disingenuous little gem of a quiz. Of course I answered every question as if I were the perfect Christian, eg I have never told a lie, I have never stolen, etc. It still told me I was a sinner! I guess I couldn't fool their Java script....
I like the MRFF idea, I guess this means I'll have to fork over the $7 for a bumper sticker.
