Oh! that makes perfect sense, now I get it. Mayans are the idiots for believing the descent of a minor God on this solstice and Christians aren't idiots for believing Jesus is coming "soon", some believe "any day now but soon". Apparently believing your God is coming is not idiocy if one doesn't pretend to know the exact date. Got it! That really makes sense.

Yeap, there are those who have financial incentives for spreading such crazy beliefs but the people who buy into anything without evidence deserves the biggest head smack, for not using the brains they were born with, not applying critical thinking and accepting based on blind faith. Why have a brain and eyes if you don't use them?

For me many things got much clearer once I started using them seven days a week.

Hah, well I'm still having fun laughing at the Mayan idiots. So I'm not at Dave's level quite yet.

Didn't the Catholic church do that when the calendar changed to 1000AD?

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

That's probably where they got the idea.

Can't blame the New Age on this one. Newage, yes, not New Age.

The New Age religions knew this was crap because quite a few of them did real research into the legend and debunked it for the more mush-headed of their kith.

Now Newage is pronounced the same a sewage (and kinda means the same, too).
