Yes, I'm going. It's just an informal gathering of folks that know Stuart Robbins or listen to his Exposing PseudoAstronamy podcast. He will host the first workshop on Thursday on photography. I'll miss it as I goofed with my flight schedule and won't arrive until the afternoon.

I should probably point out that I have reached my goal. Dave can fix the thermometer.
Thanks you so much for contributing. (You know who you are.) I really couldn't have made it without you guys.
I will be taking a laptop this year, and our rooms now have free internet access. The net book I took last year didn't work. It was a piece of crap. So hopefully this year I will be doing my usual updates from TAM as time permits.
I'm also thrilled that both Boron and Thor will be there. It's kinda lonely being the only SFNer there.
I'm hoping that Thor wears his lab coat again! (He was recognized last year from a fan of the Debunketron and his Placebo sites.)
I leave for Vegas Wednesday morning. So here I go again... |

I indeed will wear my lab coat, but last year's black shirt will be replaced with bright pink in honor of Pinkie Pie.
An update on Stuart Robbins' meetup: Saturday 8pm-9pm in a yet-to-be-confirmed suite.
I'm due to arrive Thursday afternoon. Whee!

Yes I'm glad you received money to attend an event that the staff on this board have relentlessly criticised. |

| I'm staff too.
And actually, a TAM policy and some remarks made by the president of the JREF were criticized. There have been other disagreements over individual talks and even with some individuals. Clearly the honeymoon is over. But the event itself has not been relentlessly criticized and even its harshest critics recognize the value of meetings like TAM, including TAM. Thanks for playing. |

| Hay, I've intentally stayed out of it all along but yeah your right but how's that any different from anything else when it comes to opinions? Christians are in the same basket when it comes to demonizing their own Brothers in Jesus. In the States the Baptist are convinced the Methodist are going to Hell and the Methodist are convinced the Presbyterians are going to hell, those are convinced the Mormon's, the Jehovah witnesses and the Muslims are going to hell. The only thing that makes them Brothers in Jesus is they agree that us Atheists are going to hell and as for reasons Dave alluded to elsewhere, we're all happy to oblige. No one can to feel special based on our behavior alone. Enjoy TAM Kil and everyone else going. |
