Anyone ever hear of The Revolutionmovie? Anyone think it'll have any impact whatsoever? It has a lot of famous backers as well as a lot of unattributed quotes.
Wonder how accurate (based on science it is).
Anyhow, if anyone happened to feel any hope after watching that video, then here's a little bring-me-down for you.

Could this movie make a difference? Based on the trends I see, I'm I'm leaning in the direction of a,,,,,big fat no! |

Same here. The religious and the right-wingers will condemn it as some sort of "anti-god green" conspiracy or something like that. The "liberals" will love it, but nothing will come of it, simply because we are not capable of the changes that it likely advocates. |

| This movie is more to awaken awareness to the real possible outcome that the oceans are headed for but it is only one part of accelerating global environmental destruction. Let's not use to broad a brush blaming religion, the right or any other escape goat/s. Even the "liberals, who will love it" have not come close to addressing the issues and are as much involved with driving the activities and problems, just as much. The problem is more diverse in cause and not so cut and dry to dump the blame on any one or several players. Fossil fuels' part of the problem is demand driven by the same people who see themselves as tree hugging liberals just as much as any other people which are together creating the demand. Our global economic system which requires, even demands, annual growth to be considered healthy cannot survive indefinitely on a finite planet and are incompatible with one another. Together they are eventually unsustainable. |

Motivating people to pressure politicians to make progress is a good thing. I hope the movie is scientifically accurate. Pretty logo; good thing it didn't have unicorns and rainbows. |

What's wrong with unicorns and rainbows? Rainbows are pretty and unicorn tastes like ...corn?
