A photo from a dear friend traveling from Colorodo to California.
As I posted on Facebook, "Dear patriotic American gas station owner, trust in your delusion all you want. If you insist that others be forced to, please consider moving one of the many anti-liberalism countries that do so."

| Is your gasoline sold in US gallons or liters? 1 gallon (gal) = 3.785411784 liters (L) | That price is per gallon, still cheaper than bottled water, sold in in convenience stores. Which speaks more about the mentality of Americans who complain about gas prices and don't give a second thought paying $1.25 for 12 oz bottle of water or "whatah" as it's pronounced here.
Working with the middle price, that would be $3.869 x 3.785411784 = $14.65 usd of fuel if that was liter pricing. In reality that's $1.02 a liter, I guess your paying more than that. |

Actually, my comment was a little joke. Maybe too little?
But hey... If I needed gas, and I was in jeopardy of not making it to the next station, I'd buy gas there. It's not like I'd get out of my truck and announce to the owner that I'm an atheist. I might be tempted to after I filled up. |

If they were to deny service to anyone on the basis of religion, they'd be opening themselves up to a lawsuit. |

We pay per litre. Converted from Swedish currency, ~$2.10US/litre. ~ $8US/gallon for 95octane unleaded.
E85 is ~10% cheaper after you've compensated for decreased milage. |

95 octane unleaded? I'd stab someone to get my hands on that.
The best we have is 93 octane for the premium ($3.95 in this picture, I paid $4.29 this morning in the Chicago area) blend. $3.75 is for the 86 octane lowest grade.
However there is 102 octane "racing fuel" that one can buy at $7 a gallon. |

| E85 (85% ethanol as Dave reported) clocks in at ~105 octane. But it contains less energy, so one must calculate ~35% increase in fuel consumption when compairing with unleaded 95oct. We don't get lower blends in Sweden. Shell V-Power has ~99oct.

What I learned from this picture: Don't put your trust in God to bring you any customers. |
"...things I have neither seen nor experienced nor heard tell of from anybody else; things, what is more, that do not in fact exist and could not ever exist at all. So my readers must not believe a word I say." -Lucian on his book True History
"...They accept such things on faith alone, without any evidence. So if a fraudulent and cunning person who knows how to take advantage of a situation comes among them, he can make himself rich in a short time." -Lucian critical of early Christians c.166 AD From his book, De Morte Peregrini |
