Hallo, not entirely sure this falls under pseudoscience but it may after discussion :)
So my problem : As the title saggests, HUP and that it's impossible to get lower than zero point energy - As it's unobservable. Well I would like to know why if it is impossible to detect why is it assumed not to exist. I have researched into this and asked apparent professionals in the subject, thus far only finding them referring to the HUP equation repeatedly which as you may realise simply states this rule not the proof behind it. And more importantly why others don't want to answer this is troubling me.
As this is a pretty fundamental to quantum physics at least, I'm frankly shocked at a lack of evidence floating around the internets
I'd like to see what others take on this is and their reasoning, below I'll share some of mine.
As all mass is energy at a 'resting state', mass below zero point energy can't exist. Whilst this makes sence logically, to me at least :), I fail to see how the mass would simply become non- existant.
I want to ramble more but would like to see other opinion, and ofc if it's worthy of an article.
Thanks for reading - Jshelley .

In order to make apple pie from scratch, you first have to invent universe. |

Well I would like to know why if it is impossible to detect why is it assumed not to exist. | In general, if something is impossible to detect, that means it has no physical effects on this universe, and so may as well not exist.
In other words, there is no practical difference between something that doesn't exist, and something that exists but is undetectable. |

| Undetectable in the absolute sense.
However, an effect that may appear undetectable, could be lurking just under the detection-level of whatever means we use to try to detect this effect.
In simpler terms: just because we haven't detected it yet doesn't mean it's undetectable. Measurement error can mask whatever effect we're looking for.
