It's not that the house always win, eventually. You haven't seen the movie? (Or was it too long ago?)

Watched it, Criterion edition with English subtitles. The Seventh Seal is much richer than the little I'd remembered. What's weird about it to me is that the stark story should be laughable on the face of it, but Bergman and his cast managed to make even its fantasy elements almost believable.
And yes, Death cheats, but so did the Knight, for the benefit of near strangers. |
