Matthew Cobb wrote about some Amazing dino footprints in Bolivia. They're slowly vanishing because the rock is very delicate (for rock). But I'm not sure which is more amazing: the footprints or the geology. It's hard to imagine a process that took a muddy shore and turned it nearly vertical without shattering it.
