I chose medical and health because quacks kill people.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Heh. I'm sure someone out there has had a DE while trying to have an NDE.

I'm almost 50/50 with creationism/evolution and cryptozoology. Went with c/e.

My favorite subject is pretty much all of the above because it changes from day to day.

Perhaps a better way of putting it is that I love a good debunking. When I run across a new one I read it eagerly and then go read any citations or references. The next day I may see a debunking of a completely different area and go off reading in an entirely different direction. Maybe I'm just a skeptidiletante, but I enjoy doing it.

I chose cryptic animals because though most discussed today have not yet been proven to exist, some in the past have so one never knows when that elusive animal finally gets proven to exist. Though some animals are just too hard to believe that they exist, one must remember the old saying, "absence of proof is not proof of absence"

I choose NDE/Afterlife because for a long time I believed in it and it hits home because my father is a funeral director. I was obsessed speaking to the dead and paranormal activity. In a small way I still wish it was real. I find it fascinating.

In a large way, I wish even a tenth of the stuff we're promised by cranks and quacks were real. Who wouldn't want to live a longer, disease-free life just by eating the right way? Who wouldn't want to be able to converse with dead family and friends? Who wouldn't want to be able to fetch a beer with the power of one's mind alone?
